Beijing, China (November 15, 2006) - TeraMage had recently won the bid with the color zoom cameras of mid distance and long distance, in the Qinghai -Tibet Railroad Video Surveillance System Equipment Procurement , escorting for the safety of the railroad built on the highest elevation in the world.
The Qinghai-Tibet Railroad, which was put into operation in July 2006, extends from Xining to Lhasas, within a vast region that was geographically inaccessible and ecologically vulnerable. Furthermore, the prevention of natural disaster and security defense had been topping the agenda for Golmud -Lhasa section, with a total distance of 1,142km composed of many unmanned stations.
The front end devices offered by TeraMage Technologies, made by Honeywell had proved to have stood the field test of the plateau environmental conditions.
